Note the class 08 on a 2nd slow line which was just for the brick yards along this part of the ECML. The slow lines ran all the way to Yaxley.

Today all the slow lines have been removed making the ECML only two track from Fletton Junction till Holme were there is just a down slow and a up and down fast line .

Note the wagons pulled along by a rope. These turn over the bridge to the right and share part of the bridge with a small foot path which may have been a busy road when all the brick yards were open. This bridge was rebuilt for the overhead wires by which time the wagon way(?) had been removed.

There is a now in 2014 a large Ika warehouse on the other side of the new bridge.

This video below was taken a Fletton on the ECML in the 1990s next to were a large ware house for Ikea has now been built. The pipes being put in are for this ware house

This Youtube video of Fletton was taken to the south of Peterborough in the 1990s .

This website is  it is on railways, but it is not just on trains, but all things railways, with photos, which I have taken from the 1970s till now. I take photos of all things railways, steam diesel and electric trains, signal boxes, wagons any thing that is on the National Rail network, which was BR when I started taken photos.

Today EWS, East Coast, Central trains and EWS are just some of the names on the trains. The name on the train does not mean, thats whos train it is these days. These names keep changing, but that means I have to keep taking photos. I also take photos of preserved railways with steam diesel and electric trains. There is lots more to add and I keep taking More!
