"Puffing Billy"
This is The Beamish Museum's working replica of "Puffing Billy" which was at Barrow Hill in 2008.

The real locomotive had been built between 1813 and 1814 for the Wylam Colliery, which was near Newcastle upon Tyne by William Hedley Jonathan Forster and Timothy Hackworth.
"Catch Me Who Can"
"Catch Me Who Can" Trevithick replica in the round house at Barrow Hill in 2008.
This replica of the Trevithick 200 charity was being built at the Severn Valley Railway workshops and was only in light steam with many parts still to be built or fitted in 2008.
These two replica steam locomotives were at this Rail Power Event held in August 2008.
