The Great Central Railway Mini Steam Gala March 2010
Tornado at the Great Central Railway's Quorn and Woodhouse station
Tornado the A1 class 4-6-2 steam 60163 steam locomotive was back at the Great Central Railway. The time befor was in grey undercoat this time it was in the early BR green with the full British Railways lettering on its tender and its then new nameplates. This Mini Gala had very full trains when Tornado was in charge of them.

The Great Central Railway runs from Loughborough to Leicester North station close to the Leicester outer ring road. There are stations at Rothey and at Quorn & Woodhouse. The head quarters of the railway is at Loughborough were the engine shed is and the main shop ect. The railway has a large collection of steam and diesel engines
