34053 is a Southern Railway Battle of Britain class 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotive number 21C153 named 'Sir Keith Park'
'Sir Keith Park' was the Air Vice-Marshal responsible for 11 Group. These were the fighter squadrons that covered London Sussex and Kent During the Battle of Britain. This is why this locomotive was named after him
This locomotive was rebuilt by British Railways.
