track is being craned in placed for stamford line down line on Saturday 17th July 2021
This is the south end of the dive under.
The up line point (top left) was put in over the weekend of the 4th of July 2021
At the same time sleepers and track were being layed on down line in the dive under
GBRf class 66706 in the dive under at Werrington with a train load of sleepers on the 17th July in 2021.
GBRf class 66715 waits at the Werrington on stamford line down track with a train load of Ballast on the 17th July in 2021.
By the Afternoon the sleepers for down track had been laid in the dive under.
One of the rails is being pulled over from the ballast on the left towards the right
the man is coming towards us
On the return trip the rail is place in the chair
going away from us
This will then be done for other rail
Cutting the rails to length
When both rails are in place this clip fitting machine will fit the clips in the chairs.
The track were GBRf class 66706 was at top of page was has now kinked with the heat.
At the south end of the junction GBRf class 66715 load of ballast is being put in the Stamford line down line.
Only the sleepers have been laid for the down dive under line at the south end.
The crane on left is the one in photo top of the page GBRf class 66706 will have to wait till the junction is clear
