Uffington is a small village and is between Stamford and Peterborough. This signal box still has a level crossing. The village is some way away from this crossing.

There are two gates here which are both hung on one side of the road. They overlap when closed to the railway.

This box is still in use in 2014.  The box like all the other boxes on Peterborough to Leicester will close in 2017
