9017 Earl of Berkeley is a GWR 3200 class or Earl Class. This locomotive is the ony one left of this class. It was from the Bluebell railway and had come to the Seven Valley just for this steam gala in 2008.

This GWR 57XX 0-6-0PT  (pannnier tank) number 5764 was at Highley station at the Severn Valley Railway in 2008. This locomotive was built by the Great Western Railway in 1929. These 57XX 0-6-0PTs were the 2nd largest class of steam locomotives in the UK with 863 of them being built.

5764 was between 1963 and 1969 at London Transport were it was given the number L89. It is now based at the SVR and its is in its GWR colours.
