46443  comes into the Kidderminster Severn Valley Railway station

128 of these 2-6-0s were built by the LMS and then BR. This class of Locomotives was designed b H G Ivatt. These locomotives were a tender version of his 2-6-2T. The BR Standard Class 2 having a modified cab and tender profile to allow them completely unrestricted route availability.  The BR built locomotives had BR standard fittings.

No. 46443 was withdrawn in March 1967 and was then purchased for preservation be for moving to The Severn Valley Railway  in 1967. 

The Severn Valley Kiderminster railway station is next to Kidderminster the national rail station.  The Severn Valleys Railways new  Kidderminster Town station is in what was the goods yard, when the Severn Valley Railway started.
