"Catch Me Who Can" replica steam locomotive in 2009.
This steam locomotive that at the time (2009) had no brakes fitted and still had lots more bits to make and fit, was being steamed in light steam, behind Bridgnorth locomotive shed. This replica locomotive is to be named Catch Me Who Can and is a replica of the steam locomotive that ran around a circular demonstration track in London over 200 years a go. There is a drawing of this event in most railway, early history books. The real locomotive was built not far from the SVR at the Hazledine Foundry in Bridgnorth for the now very famous Richard Trevithick.
I have put link to thie web site below. (Use the Back Button to come Back). There a photo on there site in which the locomotive now looks far better with some paint and more bits.
