York station in the 1970s befor the wires came had a mixture of locomotives.The Deltics were on the main trains with class 47s 40s and 45/6s on the main passenger trains

The Deltics had replaced the A4s and as the main line passenger locomotives on the East Coast Main Line. The Deltics were replaced by the High speed train. The class 91 then tookover when the wires went up, but the HST was still in use up to1999. The Azuma has now taken over most of both the 91s and Hst trains.

As I re-do this page ever thing has gone into lock down in April 2020 with the Coronavirus outbreak.
