Class 319433 is to Beckenham Junction  and 319373 is for Sevenoaks.
 
From the 1st of April 2006 until the 14th of September 2014, First Capital Connect had operated the Thameslink franchise from Bedford station .
 
From the 14th of September in 2014 Govia Thameslink Railway commenced operations from Bedford station branded as Thameslink. The Great Northern Peterborough-Kings Cross and Kings Lynn-Cambridge-Kings Cross services are now branded as Great Northern.

Bedford in 2014 is a busy station with commuter trains to London. Some of the HSTs and class 222 run by East Midland Trains stop at Bedford station.
 
The EMUs to the South of London and Brighton were run by First Capital Connect in June 2014.
 
There are also diesel units to Bletchley on the Bedford to Bletchley line.
 
Bedford Midland station opened in 1859. In 1894 fast lines that bypassed the station were opened. The Midland railway ran the trains till the grouping when the LMS took control.
 
From 1948 British Railways ran the trains around Bedford till Privatisation of the railways when Midland Main line and then Thamslink and Siverlink took over the running of the trains. From the 1st April 2006, First Capital Connect has been operating the the Thamslink trains between London, Brighton and Bedford till late 2014
 
First Capital Connect also ran the Great Northern trains between King's Lynn Cambridge and London Kings Cross as well as between Peterborough and Kings Cross in summer 2014.
 
There was a second Bedford station which was called Bedford St Johns this was on the line from Oxford to Cambridge. Trains from Bedford to Bretchley used this station after the Bedford to Cambridge part of the line closed.
 
Then this station was closed and the trains were moved to the Bedford Midland station.
