The East Lancashire Railway
The East Lancashire Railway is a heritage railway line that is in the North West of England just to the north of Manchester. The Railway has stations at Heywood and Rawtenstall and Bury Bolton Street, Summerseat, Ramsbottom and Irwell Vale and Rawtenstall.
You can get to the railway by using the Metrolink (trams) from central Manchester to Bury (This service starts from Piccadilly Railway Station and ends at Bury) or you could use a bus. There is a short walk (for the fit) which is well signposted from the Bury bus and Metrolink station.
