All what you see at Broadway has been rebuilt. It was a wastland of trees and bushes 10 years ago. It is now 58 years since British Railways closed this station and removed all you see now apart from the trees which may be not even have been here then.
The railway has laid track and points plus it has built two platforms and a new station building and a new signal box. it has also started puting up the signals.The Footbridge is also well under way.
The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway has saved a part of the former Great Western Railways mainline from Birmingham via Stratford-upon-Avon to Cheltenham. The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway runs trains between the Cheltenham Race Course station at Cheltenham to Broadway. It now has stations at Gotherington Winchcombe and Hails Abbey Halt and Toddington and Broadway (Broadway station only reopened in 2018 ).
