was Luffenham Junction signal box in the late 1970s this was
at North Luffenham near Stamford on the Peterborough to Leicester
line.
The branch line
to Seaton which was why there was a junction had closed in 1966 at about
the same time as the station here at North
Luffenham.

Cross Country 170 637 at North Luffenham on a Birminghan train past the closed station in 2010. New ani-vandell fencing has replaced the old fencing but the concreat posts were not removed.
