BR days at Melton Mowbray
A class 47 coming out of Melton Mowbray with a train of very full merry-go-round hoppers.
Class 45 from the same footbridge, but looking towards Oakham.
Also from the same footbridge a class 25 with a train of ballast hoppers that has been put into the loop to let a DMU past.
Also from the same footbridge two class 20s on train from Corby with wagons sheeted down
This foot bridge I took these photos from is I think not now in use.

These three photos on this page were taken at Melton Mowbray station from the footbridge next to the road bridge. They show the fine signal that was at this end of the station. It had two sets of signal arms. The upper set could be seen be for you got to the station and the lower signals gave the driver a better view when the his train was is in the station.
