This signal box is now named Swanwick junction and is at The Midland Railway Centre. This photo was taken in 2005. This signal box and its frame were called Kettering Station when it was at  the staion of the same name on the Midland main line, where it had opened in 1913. it was reopened at the Midland Railway Centre around 1990 as Swanwick Junction and is used today to control the trains.

As the name says this railway is all about the Midland Railway. Its main site is at Swanwick Junction, were it has a large collection of steam and diesel locomotives and about four or five signal boxes,and all sorts of bits and bobs on railways.
