Peterborough Down Fast line in 2017
Greater Anglia class 123 316 on the down Fast in Peterborough station on the 6th of December 2017 with a stock move to Webtec at Doncaster to be Refubished.
Two DB class 66s both in DB red with 66085 leading on the down fast on the 24th of August 2017.
Virgin East Coast class 91109 on the down fast on the 29th April 2017 .

The Down Fast
The down fast has remained the same un-like the up fast that has a platform on it
(Platform 3 in 2017).
This down fast line line was put in late 1960s early 70s so trains could do 111mph instead of the 20mph at Peterborough. All Grand Central and Hull trains are booked to use these fast lines. Virgin trains not stopping at Peterborough also use these lines.
