GNR class N2 0-6-2T no.1744 It's British Railways number was 69523, These locomotives were built by the Great Northern Railway from 1920 and then by the LNER from 1925.They were designed by Nigel Gresley.
 
This N2 is owned by the Gresley Society, and is the only one of this class saved. The N2s are perhaps best known for there use at Kings Cross on the commuter trains with the Quad-arts, and taking the ECS of the main line trains, in and out of to Kings Cross station.
 
This locomotive is based at The Great Central Railway and had come for the event.
