Arlesey railway station 5th August 2014 with First Capital Connect class 365502 on a down train to Peterborough and 365518 on a up train to Kings Cross.
 
Arlesey railway station is on the East Coast Main line. There are four tracks at this station with Arlesey railway station using the two outside tracks (Slow lines) for its platforms. These were used by First capital Connect in August 2014 for there Great Northern Route trains between Kings Cross and Peterborough. GNER trains ran non stop through the middle fast lines platforms.
 
Thameslink Great Northern have now taken over these services from 2014.
 
This station only reopened in October 1988. The platforms have now been made longer for 12 coach trains. The old station was called Arlesey and Henlow from 1933 till it closed.

The First Capital Connect all stations trains between Peterborough and Hitchin to Kings Cross trains most of which use class 365s EMUs stop at Arlesey.
 
Since 2014 'Great Northern' has taken over these First Capital Connect services
 
The local trains will stop at all stations from Peterborough to Hitchin and then just some of the stations south of Hitchin to Kings Cross. Some of the First Capital Connect trains speed though on the fast lines at peak times.
 
Virgin East Coast now run the main line trains on the East Coast in 2016. These trains with class 91s or HSTs use the fast lines though Arlesey station and do not stop.

GNER 3302 was one of the 3772 trainsets that were on lease to GNER from Eurostar. This set was repainted in GNER colours for the White Rose service between Kings Cross and Leeds. This set has now gone back to Eurostar and may have been cut up.
