Virgin Class 57 Thunderbird Tin Tin at Bletchley in 2005.

The Virgin Class 57 Thunderbirds had Dellner couplings fitted in order to rescue Pendolinos and Virgin Super Voyagers. The Class 57's were re-manufactured from class 47s by Brush Traction at its Loughborough works between 1998 and 2004. Class 57s have re-conditioned EMD engines and traction motors from Class 56s. They were given  names by Virgin from the ThunderbirdsTV show's.
