Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes is a Large New Town (City). As the town gets bigger so does the station.
Milton Keynes was a numer of villages and small towns over a large area. There are about 130 roundabouts pointing you to all the new towships, making getting about by road for stangers a nightmare.
Milton Keynes Central railway station is located on the West Coast Main Line about 50 miles from London. Avanti West Coast intercity services now run the main intercity trains (2020) these were run by Virgin Trains. The station was only opened on 17 May 1982 by the Prince of Wales. Milton Keynes Central is a triple island platform with 7 platforms. Bletchley railway station which is now also part of the new Milton Keynes has lost its main intercity trains to the new Milton Keynes station just to the north.
