These Virgin Trains (West Coast) Class 390 Pendolino electric multiple units are used on the main trans between London and Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham along the West Coast Main Line. There tilting train Pendolino technology is used on the many curves along the West Coast Main line.
The railway station at Nuneaton was opened in 1847 by the LNWR.
Today the staion was managed by London Midland in 2014. During most of the day all Virgin trains run non stop through the station. Most of London Midland Trains stop here.
Nuneaton station also has trains from Birmingham to Leicester. These trains had their own platforms added in 2004 numbered 6 and 7 alongside the station. There are also trains to and from from Coventry.

The Leicester Birmingham line trains do not use the West Coast Main line and cross it by a flyover bridge just to the south of Nuneaton station.
