GWR Earl Bathhust no.5051 at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway
Great Western Railway 4-6-0 Earl Bathurst is Castle class locomotive. When it was first built in May 1936 by the Geat Western Railway, it was named Drysllwyn Castle when first built. It was withdrawn by British Railways in May 1963 and ended up at Barry scrapyard. The Great Western Society at Didcot Railway Centre now own the locomotive. It is named Drysllwyn Castle, but it also sometimes carries the name of Earl Bathurst like on this visit.

The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway has saved a part of the former Great Western Railways mainline from Birmingham via Stratford-upon-Avon to Cheltenham. The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway runs trains between the Cheltenham Race Course station at Cheltenham to Broadway. It now has stations at Gotherington Winchcombe and Hails Abbey Halt and Toddington and Broadway (Broadway station only reopened in 2018 ).
