Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 no 35006 Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company at Toddington station on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway on the 30th May 2016
 
Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 no 35006 Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company was built by the Southern Railway at Eastleigh locomotive works in December 1941 with the number 21C6 and had air-smoothed casing.
 
British Railways re-built this Locomotive in October 1959. The air-smoothed casing was removed and Walschaerts valve gear fitted.
 
British Raiways withdrawn this locomotive in August 1964, and it ended up at Barry scrapyard in South Wales. 35006 was purchased for preservation in 1983 by which time many parts had been removed.
 
This 2016 Cotswold Festival of steam gala was its first run's on public trains since it's BR days in1964.

46521 2-6-0 is a steam locomotive that was built at Swindon by British Railways and completed on 9th February, 1953.
 
46521 was withdrawn in October 1966 and ended up at at Barry scrapyard in March 1967. The locomotive went to the Severn Valley Railway were it was restored and worked on SVR between 1974 and 2000.
 
From 2001 46521 has been based at the Great Central Railway and has been in British Railways Black. It has just been repainted in British Railway green.

The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway has saved a part of the former Great Western Railways mainline from Birmingham via Stratford-upon-Avon to Cheltenham.  The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway runs trains between the Cheltenham Race Course station at Cheltenham to Broadway. It now has stations at Gotherington Winchcombe and  Hails Abbey Halt and Toddington and Broadway (Broadway station only reopened in 2018 ).
