GWR 4-6-0 no.7820 Dinmore Manor
 
GWR 4-6-0 no.7820 Dinmore Manor at Winchcombe station on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway on the 30th May 2016.
 
 
The Great Western Railway 7800 Class or Manor Class is a class of 4-6-0 steam locomotive that were built between 1938 and 1939  designed by C B Collett for the Great Western Railway.
 
 
British Railways built another ten  locomotive to the same design in 1950. This locomotive was one of the 10 Manors that were built by British Railways.
 
Dinmore Manor withrawn in 1965 by British Railways and ended up at Barry. The locomotive was  saved from Barry in 1979 by the Gwili Railway.This locomotive is now owned by Dinmore Manor Locomotive Limited and is based at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway.

GWR 2-8-0T 4270 and GWR 4-6-0 no.7820 Dinmore Manor at Gotherington station on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway about to leave for Todington.
 
The Great Western  4200 Class 2-8-0 Tank locomotive was built in1919 to a  Churchward design.
It was withdrawn in in 1962 and ended up at Barry It left there in July 1985 and is owned by Jeremy Hosking and is based at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway and has just had an overhaul and this was it first gala after the overhaul.
 
The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway has saved a part of the former Great Western Railways mainline from Birmingham via Stratford-upon-Avon to Cheltenham.  The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway runs trains between the Cheltenham Race Course station at Cheltenham to Broadway. It now has stations at Gotherington Winchcombe and  Hails Abbey Halt and Toddington and Broadway (Broadway station only reopened in 2018 ).
