Class 33 063 and 31 271
Class 33 063 and 31 271 come into Orton Mere station on the Nene Valley Railway in October 2007 from Wansford.
BR Class 33063 'R.J. Mitchell' had come from the Spa Valley Railway for this weekend.
The head board on the class 33 reads SELG 75 F on tour. SELG is the South East Locomotive Group.

The BRCW Type 3 Diesel-electric locomotives (later class 33) were built for the Southern Region of British Railways. 98 were built at the Birmingham Railway Carriage and Wagon Works at Smethwick in the UK during 1960 to 1962 with the numbers D6500 to D6597. They have an 8 Cylinder Sulzer diesel engine. The Tractive Effort is 45,000lbs with a BO-BO wheel arrangement and there top speed is 85 mph This one 33063 came into traffic on the 6th of January 1962
