This class 170 is one of three three Class 170/3 on lease (spot-hire) from Porterbrook in 2005. It has white livery with purple doors, which were Porterbrook colours. It has "CENTRAL trains" on the side.

A very colourful Central Trains class 170399 with "be in Birmingham 2003" on the first panel and then "be surprised" on its sides. The Central trains logo is above the window on the first panel. Oakham is on the Peterborough to Leicester line. This train was to Birmingham.
