Class 47580 into Oakham Station in 2009
Class 47580 came into Oakham Station in 2009 past the Oakham Level Crossing signal box. Class 47580 is on the return leg of The Stapleford Park Open day & Harringworth Specials which were on the August Bank Hoilday Monday which was on the 31st August in 2009.
This class 47 has been painted in "Stratford large logo blue" and with the name "'County of Essex" and the number 47580. it is owned (run by) by Statford 47 Group.

GWR Hall Class 4-6-0 4953 Pitchford Hall was at the rear of this train,which had been used on the run to Corby. The train had started from Tyseley Warwick Road at 7:42am that morning. Corby station has no turntable so the 47 was needed for the leg of the trip back to Leicester.
