This page has some of the Network Rail locomotives on display at this event
 Network Rail 97303
Network Rail 97303 in its all over yellow colour and was at at the Open day that was held at The Etches Park Depot at Derby on Saturday 13th of September in 2014
This class 37 locomotive was converted at Barrow Hill in 2008 from Class 37178 to 97303 as a ERTMS Signalling test locomotive for use on the Cambrian lines in Wales between Shrewsbury and Aberystwyth, which now uses ERTMS (the European Train Control System).
Network Rail are hoping to have ETCS cab signalling (the European Train Control System) replace all traditional signalling on uk railways in the years to come.
Network Rail DVT 82124

The Mark 3 DVTs or Driving Van Trailer or Driving luggage Van as it is sometimes called were buit at Derby around 1988.
This DVT has had a diesel engine and a generator, added because of the amount of test gear on Nework Rail test trains that need electricity

This website is ukrailways1970tilltoday.me.uk it is web site on railways, but it is not just on trains, but all things railways, with photos, which I have taken from the 1970s till now. I take photos of all things railways, steam diesel and electric trains, signal boxes, wagons any thing that is on the National Rail network, which was still  British Rail when I started taken photos.
Today Virgin East Coast East Midland trains and GBRf are just some of the names on the trains. The name on the train does not mean, thats whos train it is these days. These names keep changing, but that means I have to keep taking photos. I also take photos of preserved railways with steam diesel and electric trains. There is lots more to add and I keep taking More!
