This LMS 4-6-2 Princess Royal Class named Princess Elizabeth (now HM Queen Elizabeth) was built at Crew in 1933. British Railways renumber the locomotive 46201. It was withdraw in 1962. The Princess Elizabeth Locomotive Society bought this locomotive from BR.

Langham is a small village between Oakham and Melton Mowbray.There is a signal box here which still has signals and controls a level crossing which has lifting barriers for a B road. The crossing is about a mile from the village.
