THE NIGEL DOBBING MEMORIAL TRAIN with SR Rebuilt Merchant Navy Class 4-6-2 no 35018 British India Line was from Watlington to Nottigham and then to Melton Mowbray and back to Kings Lynn by way of Peterbrough and Ely on Sunday 17 March 2019 

Nigel Dobbing was the ex-Managing Director of the Railway Touring Company, He had passed away in October 2018.

Langham is a small village between Oakham and Melton Mowbray.There is a signal box here which still has signals and controls a level crossing which has lifting barriers for a B road. The crossing is about a mile from the village.
