Great Northern Class 365503 in platform 2 at Peterborough on the12th February in 2015

Platform 2 has been made longer and the new part is to the left of the EMU were I am standing to take the photo above. New lights were also added. Note the overhead wire post that was there befor the new platform was built around it now in the middle of the platform.

Govia Thameslink Railway had replaced in September 2014 First Capital Connect as the train operator for both the Thameslink routes from Bedford, and also the Great Northern routes from Peterborough to Kings Crosss, as well as Kings Lynn and Cambridge to Kings Cross lines. The trains from Peterborough have Great Northern logos on them. Class 365503 is still in the old colours but with Great Northern Logos.

Great Northern Class 365503 in white comes into platform 2 at Peterborough under Crecent Bridge on the 12th February in 2015.

Platform 1 on the left (the old Platform 2) has been made longer and goes right under the bridge now, and over were the track for the bay platform was.
