GNER 3312 comes under Crescent Bridge at Peterborough in 2004

GNER 3312 was one of the 377/2 trainsets which were on lease from Eurostar but had not been repainted in GNER colours like 3303. These Eurostar 373/2 trainsets were used on the White Rose service between Kings Cross and Leeds. These Regional Eurostar trains have now gone back to Eurostar and I think are being used in France.

More HSTs have been now been moved from other operators to make up for them. The photo above was taken from the car park be for the anti vandal fencing was put in, at the Peterborough station car park.

WAGN 365532 comes under Crescent Bridge out of platform 1 at Peterborough in 2004

WAGN 365532 comes under Crescent Bridge out of platform 1 at Peterborough in 2004

The bay platform that was numbered as 1, had its track removed in late 2013 ,as part of a new platform layout at Peterborough station.

WAGN or West Anglia Great Northern to give its full title was the train operating company that from 1994 till 2006 ran the Great Northern commuter services from Peterborough to Kings Cross in London. WAGN also ran trains from Kings Lynn and Cambridge to London Kings Cross.

The Great Northern local services and commuter services from Peterborough to Kings Cross were and some still are run with these class 365s EMUs together with the 386 and the new 700 EMUs the class 307s and 321s have moved away in 2018.

WAGN was owned by Prism Rail but was then taken over by the National Express Group from the 1st April 2004. It then called itself WAGN instead of the full name of West Anglia Great Northern.

On the 1st April 2006 First Capital Connect took over from WAGN these Great Northern commuter services from Peterborough.

In 2014 Great Northern took over these services from First Capital Connect.
