Euro Cargo Rail class 66191 in the goods loops at Peterboroughon station in 2011 with the Plasmoor empties. These loops were next to Peterborough railway stations platform 5.
Euro Rail is a French railway operater, that is a Subsidary of DB Schenker, that used to be EWS. About 60 UK class 66s went over to France, and this was one of them. The EWS logo is still on the cab side at this end.

GBRf class 66707 with the name Sir Sam Fay The Great Central Railway was in the goods loops at Peterboroughon station on 28th April 2011 . These loops were next to Peterborough railway stations platform 5. But now in 2014 platform 6 and 7 are now here.

These two goods loops or goods avoiding lines were signalled both ways and were used for crew changes and personal time breaks.
Trains could be here for a very short time or a long time, if waiting for a clear path between other trains or for a replacement driver.
